UK Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) published a series of guidance documents that cover extensive expert information on the approach to security-informed safety assurance and the Claims, Arguments and Evidence (CAE) methodology.

Adelard’s partner Dr Sofia Guerra attended the American Nuclear Society's 12th Nuclear Plant Instrumentation, Control and Human-Machine Interface Technologies (NPIC&HMIT 2021) conference held on 14-17 June and presented Adelard’s research papers discussing the use of COTS devices in safety-critical sectors and various justification approaches employed by industries.

Professor Robin Bloomfield, partner at Adelard LLP, will be delivering a Keynote presentation at Safety-Critical Systems Symposium on 10 February 2021 at 2:00pm (GMT). Robin will introduce the why, what, and how of Assurance 2.0: A Manifesto. Assurance 2.0 has been developed in response to the challenges posed by new developments including systems in which major functions are driven by machine learning as well as the persistent issues of effective and timely assurance.

Heidy Khlaaf, Consultant at Adelard, was invited to deliver the keynote lecture at Site Reliability Engineering Conference 2019 (SREcon19) in Dublin, Ireland. SREcon is an annual conference gathering engineers and enabling them to discuss topics of site reliability, systems engineering, and working with complex distributed systems at scale.

Adelard updates DOORS integration for ASCE

Adelard has released an updated version of its DOORS integration for ASCE. Now compatible with the latest versions of IBM Rational DOORS classic, (9.6 and 9.7), the integration permits traceable content managed by DOORS to be inserted into the safety or assurance case within ASCE.
DE&S renew commitment to ASCE
