Building Safety Webinar Series:

A Practical Approach to Hazard Identification for Housing Safety Cases

We are excited to present our Building Safety webinar series, designed to assist housing sector professionals in navigating the complexities of new regulatory demands and the obligation to adopt structured safety cases for building safety management.

In our first webinar held in May, we were looking at the HAZID (Hazard Identification) risk assessment technique and ways it can be successfully employed to identify and control potential building safety hazards.

The concept of a safety case is still new in the housing sector, but Adelard's team brings decades of expertise in researching, developing, and consulting on safety and assurance cases required in other safety-critical industries, such as defense, nuclear, transport, and medical.

We’ve also been supporting the housing sector for the last few years and worked with numerous housing associations mentoring their building safety teams and equipping them with skills to independently develop and maintain safety cases moving forward.

Watch our webinar to:

  • Learn about Adelard’s practical approach to HAZID analyses, and how it can be adapted to fit your needs.
  • Get a better understanding about the link between the HAZID assessment and the building safety case.
  • Learn what key questions you should be considering when preparing your building’s risk assessment.
  • Explore good practices for a comprehensive risk assessment that is ready for a regulatory review.
