Adelard to exhibit at the SMi Defence Safety Conference

Adelard is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the SMi Defence Safety Conference to be held at Copthorne Tara Hotel, London, UK on 1st October and 2nd October 2018. The conference aims to reduce avoidable deaths, improve protection of capability and preserve the reputation of those that operate, supply and support defence services.

Adelard presents at the 3rd Annual Nuclear Industrial Control Cyber Security and Resilience Conference

Prof Robin Bloomfield spoke at the 3rd Annual Nuclear Industrial Control Cyber Security and Resilience Conference on May 23rd 2018. " 'If it’s not secure, it’s not safe' - Security in the nuclear safety case". Robin addressed questions about changes to mindset and methodology, and whether claims, arguments and evidence support or hinder security informed safety cases. Adelard to exhibit at the MOD’s flagship symposium, ESAS2018

Adelard is pleased to announce its support for the DE&S Environmental and Safety Assurance Symposium (ESAS), the UK MOD's flagship equipment safety and environmental event. The event will be held at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol, on 18th and 19th September 2018 and registration is open to industry and academia as well as MOD employees.

Safety-Critical systems are prevalent in our everyday life. Yet, despite the increasing use of software in these systems, the tech community as a whole is largely unaware of issues, processes, and standards that reign and govern them. The presentation, ‘Determining Software Safety in Critical Systems’ provides an introductory overview of safety-critical systems, and how the software used within them, specifically, within the nuclear-energy industry, can be assured and verified up to standards that ensure our safety.
