Fan Ye

Fan Ye obtained an MSc in Software Engineering with Distinction (2000–2001) and a PhD in Computer Science (2001–2005) from the University of York. His PhD research was funded by QinetiQ and focused on the topic of justifying the use of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software components within safety-critical applications.

Fan Ye joined Adelard in 2005 and has since been working in the areas of software dependability, safety assessment, and safety case development. He has worked as a member of Adelard's ISA teams on numerous defence projects including the MoD's Bowman secure voice and data communications system and the related projects FC BISA, GBAD BriC and JETTS. He has taught part of the courses on the latest version of Def Stan 00-56.

Fan Ye is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). He is a qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001:2000.
