Adelard is a recognised leader in the development and application of safety cases.

Over 20 years, we have built up extensive experience in the fields of safety and reliability, project support, standards development, applied research, process modelling and cognitive science. We have worked in a number of different sectors - in defence (land, sea and air), space and aerospace, railways, nuclear, civil aviation and process areas. We have worked with major European companies and agencies including British Energy (BE), British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL), Electricite de France (EDF), the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Aerospatiale, GEC-Alsthom, the European Space Agency (ESA), Astrium, and TUV Nord.

We have also provided consultancy to the Commission of the European Communities (CEC) and the UK Government on research and industrial policy on safety and dependability.
