SpecBox: Installation

• To use the system fully you need:
  • An IBM PC 386 or greater with at least 2 Mbytes of memory.
  • Pkzip, WinZip or similar archiver to decompress the package.
  • A facility to view or print the PDF manual.
     
• Download the following archives:
  • sb221a.exe (453K)
  • the SpecBox manual, mandos.pdf (551K)
     
• Create a directory (e.g. C:\SPECBOX) and unzip the archives into it.
• Print and read the manual !
• CD to the SPECBOX directory and type "SPECBOX"
• The package may be run from other directories if you add the C:\SPECBOX directory path to the PATH statement of the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
