Software Reliability and Integrity Prediction

We have developed a variety of models to predict software reliability. In particular a conservative prediction of the bounds on the MTTF based on estimation of experience and the number of faults in the code.

This is supported by process modelling to support reliability estimation. The method estimates the number of residual faults at the time of release from a "barrier model" of the development process, where in each phase faults are created or detected. It has been applied on a wide variety of projects.
